The Lake Eyre day flight up to Birdsville and the Dig Tree was in hindsight a huge day and yet we are so pleased we did the trip as the country north of Lake Eyre was just so wonderful to see. Likewise the country on the flight to the Dig Tree and home was different yet again.

Nick our pilot was always a kind and polite host. We felt comfortable and confident with him at all times and hope you can convey this to him.

I found we could probably have had an extra day to really enjoy as we were very very busy, but unfortunately constraints from the train timetable to Perth did not allow us.
